Essential Guidelines for the IIT JAM 2024 Admit Card

Applicants should carefully read the guidelines listed below, which are located on their admit card for the IIT JAM test.

Candidates must bring one picture ID and their JAM admission card to the exam location that has been assigned to them. Applicants must provide an original copy of their picture ID card, since scanned copies will not be allowed. The IIT JAM admission card must be printed using a colour laser printer (ideally) on A4-sized paper. Upon printing the admission card, candidates must make sure their photo and signature are visible.

It is recommended that candidates identify or visit their exam centre at least one day before the exam.

On exam day, candidates must make sure that their fingertips are free of any coating (such as tattoos, mehndi, henna, or ink). This is because a biometric verification method will be used.
